Polar Performance can be booked as inspirational speakers for businesses and events in the UK and abroad.

Sandy and Sophie can present as a pair or individually, and we tell our story with honesty, humour and humility. We aim to inspire more than impress, and have analysed each lesson learned on our adventures, making it relevant to everyday lives both at work and at home. The following themes are emphasised, within the context of life on the coldest, highest and most inhospitable continent on Earth.

  • How to create high performance teams

  • Psychological safety

  • Dynamic leadership

  • Resilience

  • Imposter syndrome and self belief

  • Maintaining mission focus

  • Meticulous preparation

  • Confidence and conquering fears

  • Dealing with conflict

We have spoken at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, MasterCard, Lloyds Bank, JP Morgan, AECOM, Arup, Trowers & Hamlins, The Institute of Directors and Newable's Fuelling Ambition Conference, to name a few. See testimonials from our clients.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Sophie and Sandy present on a number of occasions and I cannot recommend them enough. Their story is obviously very inspirational, but it’s their ability to bring the tale to life with honest and candid insight that makes their presentations so engaging.
— Stefania Farrugia, AECOM

We are passionate about inspiring young people to set themselves a challenge and have the determination to see it through. We offer a corporate speaking package that covers our speakers' fee for the main company event, but also funds our visit to a school of your choice where we will deliver a presentation or workshop*.

Your company's branding will be included in all publicity and social media arising from the visit.

*Sandy and Sophie are both DBS certified.

Not all of us are able to cross Antarctica, but we all engage in projects that require planning and preparation, and an understanding of our team’s strengths and weaknesses. Their talk focused on the role teamwork plays in achieving your objective and this was a language we all understood.
— Suzanna Joy, Arup
